Dear Colleagues:

I trust that each of you has had a time to rest and recharge this summer.  It’s hard to believe the new school year is upon us!  And with the new school year comes a renewed push for equitable services for private school students.

This school year I plan to provide several blog posts for you—particularly in light of the new Title VIII guidance recently released by the US Department of Education.  I’ll also be providing you via a summary and fact sheet for guidance highlights.

This coming November I again have the pleasure of being the primary speaker for Catapult Learning’s 11th annual Equitable Services Institute.  ESI23 is scheduled for November 7, 8, and 9 in St. Louis.  Hopefully you’ve received an invitation to register from Catapult, but in case you didn’t, here is the registration link.  Spots are limited, so don’t delay!

I hope to see you in St. Louis.  Our focus this year is US Department of Education guidance documents for both ESSA and IDEA—so count on a jam-packed agenda filled with great information, interaction with colleagues, experts from the field, and maybe even a surprise or two!

Meet me in St. Louis!

All the best,

Michelle L Doyle
